Dear Reader,

I don't know how or why you've reached this page, but I decided to enter something here just in case you do.

My name is Tim, or you can call me by my given name Takahiro. I'm 25 years old and a computer scientist educated at the University of California at Davis. I work at a medical equipment manufacturer and the software communicates with VistA. That's how I got involved with the VA hospitals, VistA, and eventually WorldVistA.

I'm a huge fan of free software (FSF) and opensource. I'm big on Linux and BSD. I try to contribute to open software as much as I can.

This site looks pretty cool, and I hope to be a contributor as well as a reader.

As a complete novice to VistA, I will carefully log my experiences so that they may be useful to future learners of VistA.

Thanks for reading!

Sincerely, Tim
