: The Chemotherapy “Piggyback” IV type follows the same order entry procedure as the regular piggyback IV type. This type of chemotherapy is in use when the chemotherapy drug does not have time constraints on how fast it must be infused into the patient. These types are normally administered over a 30 - 60 minute interval.&lt;br /&gt;
