It is this name that is routinely printed on prescription labels, medication administration records, inventory sheets, etc. The field name is GENERIC NAME (#.01). These terms are interchangeable throughout this document. This field is automatically stuffed with the VA Print Name when an item is marked for CMOP transmission.<br />
