- Transport Layer
- The fourth layer of the OSI model. It ensures that messages are delivered error-free, in sequence, and with no losses or duplications. This layer repackages messages for their efficient transmission over the network. At the receiving end, the Transport layer unpacks the message, reassembles the original messages, and sends an acknowledgement of receipt.
