- This file contains the local GENERIC NAME (#.01), INACTIVE DATE (#100), DEA, SPECIAL HDLG (#3), and NDC fields, as well as others. NDF software attempts to match products from this file with products in the VA GENERIC file (#50.6) and the VA PRODUCT file (#50.58).
