The Authorization/Subscription Utility (ASU) implements a User Class Hierarchy which is useful for identifying the roles that different users fulfill within the hospital. It also provides tools for creating business rules that apply to documents used by members of such groups.
ASU provides a method for identifying who is AUTHORIZED to do something (for example, sign and order).
