It is very likely that the current Allergy list will satisfy this criteria but there is also a possibility that it will need to be modified to be coded correctly, i.e., for ePrescribing or for RxNorm compatibility. Also, the VA is standardizing this list and we no longer receive that information except by extracting it from the VA Demos that we receive or potentially from a FOIA copy of VistA. DEVELOPMENT STATUS Volunteers needed to check to be sure the audit logs for allergies satisfy all of the criteria necessary for auditing and to see if the historical changes to the allergies such as "Entered in Error" can be retrieved by a user or if a tool needs to be built to do that.
