Default Prompt: The Default Prompt asks a question and supplies an answer. The answer either reflects the most common response associated with the question or, data (a value) that was previously entered.; Do you really want to Halt? YES//; If < Enter> is pressed, the computer recognizes the “YES” default as the accepted answer, and will halt/stop. Notice the “//” after the “YES.” This means that you can change the default answer to something else. In this example, if you entered “NO” after the “//,” the system would permit you to continue working on the computer.
