The problem: Printing a note using TMG-CPRS formatted text truncates the first few characters of every line when printing from Windows 7. The fix: Widen the left margin default for the IE sub-system. Do this by: Ctrl-Right Clicking in the Note area of TMG-CPRS-->Print Preview-->Settings(Gear icon)-->Set the left margin to something wider like 0.5. This setting persists across windows and VistA logins. Why? TMG-CPRS relies on the Internet Explorer sub-system for printing of html rendered notes. Default margins for this appear to be set to 0.196 by default in Windows 7. This is very narrow for the printers we use: HP/Toshiba. So narrow in fact that the printer truncates the first few characters of each note. -- Ignacio Valdes, MD, MS -- http://astronautvista.com
