Getting into programmers mode

1. provide information to the operating system to validate your user.
   1. This usually involves a connection process
   2. Then there is a user login.
   3. It is assumed that user name is "vista"
2. Use the command line for the operating systems (ex: bash for Linux)
3. Choose which circumstance you are in:

Linux OS, bash shell prompt and GT.M M system

at the $ prompt:
  type the gtm command.
[vista@localhost]$ gtm 

Linux OS, bash shell; YottaDB M system

at the $ prompt:
  type the ydb command.
[vista@localhost]$ ydb
