The VistA Documentation Library is a set of web pages, supported by the DVA, detailing the functions and capabilities of the VistA Packages. It may be accessed on the Web at:
- see also VDL
Be aware that in general, the VDL is the VA's internal documentation, not designed for outside use. As such, it makes three implicit and unstated assumptions:
- That the reader works for the VA
- Has a working knowledge of the look, feel, and functionality of CPRS or RPMS
- Can turn to someone nearby for answers or help finding answers.
Many of you reading this, like myself, will not have these prerequisites, and will want an introduction to the VDL. For the most part these introductions have not been written, so you may want to learn to search this wiki, the archives on the Hardhats list, the WorldVistA.org website, and others. Then post your question on Hardhats. ssw 20100117
