Discussions in the first meeting include:

  • whether the project is worth doing,
  • what the broad scope of the project might be,
  • generally how it is going to be funded,
  • who is going to be available to work on it,
  • what kinds of resources would be available to it's participants
  • how it should presented to those who make decisions
  • what broad time frames encompass the project
  • short term goals
  • long term goals

AGENDA

The goals of this meeting are as follows

1) Define the general scope and requirements of this project

2) Determine the appropriate personnel to use from the various organizational groups. These persons will be responsible at the next meeting for a rough draft of their organizational group's needs regarding this project, and what resources their group will be providing to meet the needs of this project.

3) Evaluate the current draft of the detailed document format and summary chart format to determine how they apply to this project. Modifications will be discussed, if necessary.

4) Establish a time frame in which this project will be started and finished, including milestones for both short term goals, and long term goals.
