- Local Generic Name
- Field #.01.The first field in the local DRUG file (#50). This is the identifying name for the item. It is this name that is routinely printed on prescription labels, medication administration records, inventory sheets, etc. The field name is GENERIC NAME (#.01). These terms are interchangeable throughout this document. This field is automatically stuffed with the VA Print Name when an item is marked for CMOP transmission.
